Caofeidian project nearing completion

Having on November 18, 2009 signed definitive agreements on a build, own, operate, and transfer basis for the 50,000m3/day SWRO desalination project in Caofeidian, Aqualyng and partners kicked off the construction phase of the project as of March 15, 2010.
The project is currently mechanically complete and awaits infrastructure connections prior to commissioning. When commissioned, the plant will deliver drinking standard water to industrial offtakers in the eco-industrial Caofeidian zone in the Hebei province, and is the largest build own operate project of its kind in China.

The Caofeidian project is benefitting from the patented Aqualyng energy recovery device, the Recuperator™, ensuring the lowest life cycle and water cost on the market.
